Abstract

ABSTRAK

Penelitian yang dilaksanakan pada tahun 2001 di Taman Wisata Alam Laut (TWAL) Gili Indah Kabupaten Lombok Barat ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis nilai ekonomi total dan alternatif pengelolaan ekosistem terumbu karang yang optimal. Penentuan responden dilakukan dengan metode Stratified Random Sampling. Analisis data menggunakan Nilai Ekonomi Total dan Analisis Biaya Manfaat melalui Program Stella Versi 4.0.2. Hasil prediksi bahwa luas ekosistem terumbu karang di TWAL Gili Indah sekitar 448,76 ha, dengan Nilai Ekonomi Total (NET) Rp 25.897.263.024/tahun atau Rp 57.708.046,64/ha/tahun.  Alternatif pengelolaan ekosistem terumbu karang yang optimal adalah penerapan daya dukung dan pembagian blok kawasan pengelolaan.


ABSTRACT

This research was conducted in the Natural Marine Park West of Lombok,  2001. The objectives  this research were to analyze total economic value and to identifitythe alternatif managements for coral reef ecosystem.  Respondents were ditermined using Stratified Random Sampling. The data were analysed for Total Economic Value and Benefit Cost Analysis, using stella program, versi 4.0.2.  The result shows that it was predicted that the area of coral reef ecosystem in Gili Indah natural park is about 448.76 ha with the value of Rp. 25.897.024/year or Rp. 57.708.046.65/ha/year.  The alternative way to manage the ecosystem optimally is by deviding the area into blocks according to the sustain copaciyt of the blocks.
