ANALISIS PROSPEK PENGEMBANGAN USAHATANI TERPADU SAPI POTONG DAN JAMBU METE DITINJAU DARI ASPEK TEKNIS, SOSIAL, EKONOMI, FINANSIAL, DAN MANAJEMEN

Abstract

The potential for developing an integrated beef cattle and cashew farming system in Muna Regency is substantial, yet its implementation faces various challenges. The success of such a system's development depends not only on the availability of natural resources but is also influenced by various technical, social, economic, financial, and managerial factors associated with the farmers. Therefore, research is needed to analyze the relationship between these factors and the prospects for developing integrated beef cattle and cashew farming. The research aims to determine: (1) the prospects for developing integrated beef cattle and cashew farming, (3) whether technical, social, economic, financial and management factors have a significant relationship with the prospects for developing integrated beef cattle and cashew farming. The research respondents consisted of beef cattle breeders and also those who have cashew plantations. The determination of the research location sample was determined intentionally (purposive) because not all sub-districts in Muna Regency are only a few sub-districts out of a total of 22 sub-districts. The sample of sub-districts and villages was determined purposively with the consideration that the sub-districts and villages have beef cattle and cashew crops. The sample population of breeders was determined by random sampling or randomly, meaning that all breeders have the same opportunity. The research data obtained through direct interviews and analyzed using: (1) qualitative descriptive, (2) Feasibility Tally Sheet, (3) to determine the relationship between technical, social, economic, financial and management factors, a correlation test was used. The results of the study show that: (1) integrated beef cattle and cashew nut farming has prospects for development (2) The relationship between technical, social, economic, financial and management factors and the prospects for developing integrated beef cattle and cashew nut farming in Muna Regency shows a positive and significant relationship.
