ANALISIS PENDAPATAN DAN KELAYAKAN USAHA AGROINDUSTRI GULA AREN DI KECAMATAN LINGSAR INCOME AND FEASIBILITY ANALYSIS OF PALM SUGAR AGRO-INDUSTRY IN LINGSAR DISTRICT, WEST LOMBOK REGENCY

Abstract

ABSTRAK

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis : (1) Pendapatan dari agroindustri gula aren di Kecamatan Lingsar; (2) Kelayakan usaha agroindustri gula aren di Kecamatan Lingsar; (3) Mengetahui kendala-kendala yang dihadapi dalam pengolahan gula aren baik itu secara teknis maupun ekonomis di Kecamatan Lingsar.  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan teknik survei melalui daftar pertanyaan dan wawancara.Lokasi penelitian di Lingsar.   Lokasi penelitian ditentukan secara Purposive Sampling dan terpilih 3 (tiga) desa sentra produksi gula aren yaitu Desa Langko, Desa Karang Bayan, dan Desa Batu Mekar. Jumlah Responden dalam penelitian ini  sebanyak 29 orang yang tersebar di 3 (tiga) Desa, adapun di Desa Langko 9 orang responden, Desa Karang Bayan 10 orang responden, dan Desa Batu Mekar 10 orang responden. Sampel responden ditentukan secara Accidental Sampling. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis pendapatan dan kelayakan usaha (R/C-Ratio).  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Rata-rata produksi gula aren yang dihasilkan perajin gula aren di Kecamatan Lingsar sebesar 15,31 kg dengan harga rata-rata sebesar Rp 10.994,92. Rata-rata nilai produksi sebesar Rp 166.956,90/proses produksi. Rata-rata biaya produksi sebesar Rp 117.115,47/ Proses produksi; (2) Pendapatan yang diperoleh sebesar 49.841,43/ proses Produksi. (3) Agroindustri gula aren di Kecamatan Lingsar Kabupaten Lombok Barat layak untuk diusahakan dengan nilai R/C Ratio 1,43( R/C > 1).  Terdapat beberapa kendala teknis maupun ekonomis yang dihadapi pengusaha gula aren di Kecamatan Lingsar.  Kendala teknis meliputi: (a) Pengaruh pergantian musim/cuaca; (b) Ketersediaan bahan baku utama (nira aren); (c) Ketersediaan kayu bakar. Kendala ekonomis yaitu (a) Harga jual yang tidak kontinu karena ditentukan pengumpul; (b) Terbatasnya modal yang digunakan.

ABSTRACT

The purposes of this study are to analyze: (1) Revenues from palm sugar agro-industry in the District Lingsar; (2) Feasibility palm sugar agro-industry businesses in the District Lingsar; (3) Knowing the constrains in the processing of palm sugar both technically and economically in Sub Lingsar.  This research uses descriptive method with a survey through questionnaires and interviews. The research location in Lingsar. The research location is determined by purposive sampling and elect three (3) villages palm sugar production center that Langko Village, Karang Bayan, and BatuMekar Village. Number of Respondents in this study were 29 people spread over three (3) Village The Village Langko 9 respondents, Karang Bayan 10 respondents, and Batu Mekar Village 10 respondents. The sample of respondents is determined by accidental sampling. The analytical tool used is the analysis of income and feasibility (R / C Ratio).  The results showed that:(1) Average production of palm sugar palm sugar that is produced by artisans in the district of Lingsar of 15.31 kg at an average price of Rp 10994.92. The average value of production amounted to Rp 166,956.90 / production process. The average production cost of Rp 117,115.47 / production process; (2) The income of 49841.43 / production process. (3) Agro-industry of palm sugar in Lingsar District of West Lombok deserves to be developed by the R / C ratio of 1.43 (R / C> 1). There are some technical and economic obstacles facing entrepreneurs in Sub Lingsar palm sugar. Technical obstacles include: (a) The effect of the change of seasons / weather; (b) availability of key raw materials (palm sugar); (c) Availability of firewood. Economic constraints, namely (a) the sale price is not continuous because of determined collectors; (b) Lack of capital employed.
